simple present, even with now or at the moment.
am / is / are + verb-ing.
Same word, two jobs. The meaning decides the form, not the word.

"I am having a car" is impossible: you cannot "do" owning. "I have lunch at the moment" is wrong too: eating is an action that starts and ends.

State meaning: the thing HAS a quality (it smells, it tastes, it feels). Action meaning: a person DOES something with a body part (a nose, a tongue, a hand, the eyes).
